When ordering labels, remember to always check you are buying from a NZ based company as many label shops are actually based overseas even though they may have a NZ domain name. Meet the Team
Sherry – Owner & Office Manager
Sherry has been with Name It since the beginning and has a HUGE library of knowledge in regards to all things about labels. She is responsible for the day to day running of Name It and is always available to help with special requests, feedback and help on any orders. Sherry also oversees the Custom Label department which is responsible for special runs of customised labels and stickers for individuals or companies. In her spare time Sherry adores anything to do with live theatre, the latest book from bookclub and putting pen to paper with her creative writing.
Brendan – Operations & Printing Manager
Brendan has been with Name It for over 10 years and now runs all printing operations with his support team at Name It. Brendan has an eye for detail and is always checking quality and making sure orders are processed in a timely manner in order to ensure our reputation for a fast turnaround is met. His years of experience behind the machines mean's he can quickly produce beautiful labels and stickers - he happily offers suggestions and recommendations for those looking for special custom jobs. Brendan enjoys a good coffee and great debate with friends and family. Outside of work he completed a BA at Auckland University in his spare time and is now overseeing a challenging new build home.
Laura – Marketing, Sales & Office Assistant
Laura has worked at Name it for 8 years full time and part time whilst also becoming a new Mum to four young children. Three kids are now at school (with belonging's labelled with Name It products!) with the last starting this year. Laura is responsible for the accounts at Name It and working with our regular Rest Home and Schools around NZ who we supply with ongoing labels. She also easily moves around the office to other areas during busy times be it to work on the - phones, packing, printing and processing of all the Name It orders. When there is any down time Laura can be found googling (and dreaming) about winning the lottery and buying a holiday home near the sea or more realistically taking the family cavoodle Rosie for a relaxing walk.
Tim – Product Development & Procurement
Tim keeps “behind the scenes” of Name It running smoothly for everyone. He is responsible for development and sourcing possible new materials and products. With an Engineering background he's an expert with regards to maintenance of our special print machines and the unique materials (tapes and ink) that we use at Name It. He's always researching the latest and any potential new technology in the labelling business.
Simon – Information Technology & Accounts Manager
Simon is a qualified IT specialist and an Accountant. He develops and manages the Name It online web shop to make sure it is both a secure and quick and easy process for our customers to order their labels. In his spare time Simon enjoys playing golf and cricket and spending time with his family.
