Name It – 100% Polyester Sew-On Clothing Labels

  • Best label to machine sew. No need to fold the ends under. Just lay flat and sew. See video below.
  • Washes very well.
  • Recommended for hot commercial washes in a Rest Home or Boarding School.
  • Will not fade. Will not fray.

Size is 50mm x 15mm and pre cut. Easy to use.

If you can't machine sew, but definitely want stitching, then see our iron on clothing labels. Iron them on and put a stitch each side.
Some people do hand stitch this polyester but it needs a sharp needle.
Our iron on are fully guaranteed for use in Rest Homes and are easy to apply.

We can also print other text labels in this excellent polyester   eg Hand Made by Nana

  • Choose white material or black material.
The black material is useful for labelling dark socks.  Write in the comment box, how many of each colour per order.
  • All labels are printed with the text CENTRE * If you would like the text to the side, to sew as a tag, request this in the comment box above. If you want to sew across the label, ask us to lower the text for this.
  • Use the 2nd line for additional information eg a phone number, as needed or leave blank (it's just an option)

Custom Labels

Our Sew On - Polyester labels (ordered on this page above) are suitable for plain text only care labels - eg

Made in New Zealand

I would not buy polyester labels again for hand sewing on to clothes. I would get material labels next time.

    Sew on Name Labels

Posted by Heidi Tapper on Apr 14, 2020

These are the best labels I have purchased over the years. They are resilient enough to last multiple washes and I have been able to re-use them. Also delivery was very fast. Love this product.

many dont have sewing machines these days

The iron ons are brilliant and quick but the crinkles are not nice next to skin. Why not an iron on over 10mm only and leave the rest free of the garment like a tag
