Description

A lovely soft-feel, shiny label.

  • Cold or warm wash only. Not suitable for high washing temperatures like in a Rest Home or Boarding School. Some fade would occur.  
  • A luxury sheen appearance.
  • Ideal for jumpers, woollens, or delicate items that are hand washed.
  • A lovely label for a special garment in a home sewing business.   
  • The sides need to be turned under to avoid fray. 
  • BLACK PRINT onto a white label - Easy to read.

SIZE: Each label is 63mm x 15mm - and we always allow room to fold each end under to avoid fraying. 

Please note: Not suitable for hot commercial wash in a Rest Home or Boarding School as will fade slightly. For boarding school and rest home wash see our polyester sew on. Or for hand sewers only, please go to our WOVEN labels.

    I sew them on by hand and they seem to stand up well to repeated washing and remain clearly legible

    AS I wanted these for a hand knitted garment I cannot iron on, so have to sew them. However as the ends do not fray (my first thought) this has been OK. Would be interested to know if there is a coloured background available

    Fold over ends scratchy

    I chose the soft satin labels so they wouldn’t be scratchy for my child, but as the ends must be folded over before sewing, it makes quite sharp corners when sewn with a machine so they’re no less scratchy than the other label options. Delivery was faster than expected & the labels are printed exactly to my request, thank you
